The new Chairman of the Nigerian Insurers Association , Mr. Ganiyu Musa, has released his nine -point agenda targeted at lifting the insurance sector during his two-year tenure as the chairman of the underwriters’ umbrella body.
Speaking at his investiture as the 24th Chairman of the association in Lagos, he said the association would work closely with other stakeholders to maximise the benefits derivable from insurance. He also seeks to improve relationship between NIA and its regulatory agencies. These include the National Insurance Commission , Central Bank of Nigeria , Security and Exchange Commission and National Pension Commission .
