has announced that the deadline for applications for the 2022 academic year has been extended to January 21, 2022.NSFAS says since applications opened in November last year, 600 000 have been received. More than 500 000 are new applicants.
In this application cycle, NSFAS enhanced its portal to enable first-time applicants who are beneficiaries of the South African Social Security Agency to receive an immediate response to their applications. The deadline should be on the 31st January, matric results will be released on the 20th. The NSFAS systems won't be able to handle the volume of applicants in one day. Lama 2000s will only apply once the matric results are released that's their attitude.
May they kindly fix their system problems so that they avoid backlog again
