The deceased were travelling along the R34 from Bloemhof to Schweizer Reneke after attending a wedding anniversary of a relative. The minibus taxi they were travelling in collided with a truck. Seventeen of the deceased are from one family while the driver of the taxi and his friend also passed away.The family is battling to deal with the tragedy:
