A bicyclist who was killed near Alamo Quarry Market and the drive accused of being intoxicated when she struck him have been identified. Emilian Josiah Ramirez, 18, was riding his bicycle in the 300 block of Basse Road at about 10:30 p.m. on March 22 when a Toyota Camry hit him, San Antonio police said.
Bella Dae Garza, 23, was reportedly drunk when she lost control of the Camry, which rolled onto its side after the impact. She was booked into the Bexar County Jail by proxy, San Antonio police said. Garza was charged with intoxication manslaughter and endangering a child. She had a child in her car at the time of the crash, police said.
