Mark Brownridge faces multiple charges after making the threats toward his former coworkers at a Bergen County company

Jackie Roman | NJ Advance Media for NJ.com

Mark D. Brownridge, 46, who also goes by Mark Sims, was later arrested without incident near Newark Penn Station after officers rushed to Wonder Meats in Carlstadt to protect the employees, who also had called authorities to report the threat, police said. Police say Brownridge called Carlstadt Police Department headquarters at 5:55 p.m. Tuesday to say he “was on his way to his former employer’s location to kill everyone inside the building and that we [CPD Officers] better get there to stop him.”
