Deputy Minister in the Presidency, Thembi Siweya, says the Vuwani area of Limpopo is in desperate need of service delivery. Siweya is visiting and speaking to residents in the area as part of a service delivery assessment.

One section of the area was part of the Thulamela Municipality, while the other full under the Makhado Municipality.VIDEO: This 2016 video illustrates Vuwani unrests: One resident says, “Where I am staying I don’t have water, schools and proper roads, it’s impossible to drive on these roads. When it rains our children can’t go to school because the roads are worse. Our children have to travel long distances just to access a school and that is really bad.”
