I am writing as the CEO of LIVE, the trade body for the UK’s live music industry, to express my disappointment in the headline and tone of your article .

Call me old fashioned but maybe the music industry should just focus on music.

I think bands in general are bad for climate change. Think of all they contribute by touring and forcing people to come to these huge stadiums. The future of the planet will be in metaverse concerts. Then anyone can be in the front row and no emissions
