The best way to switch from a fast-fashion to investment mindset is simply to buy the best you can afford, rather than looking for the cheapest option available.

“I think that people need to figure out their personality and be confident in that, and then buy once and buy well. Have a ‘one in, one out’ rule where you’re not just accumulating more stuff.”
