When Planet Innovation graduate software engineer Tim Harris accepted his position, he knew he would have an opportunity to realise his dream: to work on projects with tangible human health impact.

Planet Innovation HR director Kris Reynolds explains some of the techniques the business uses to find great people. “We’ve recently filled three roles in record time and one of the standout comments from candidates was that they were drawn to the fact that ANDHealth is a purpose-driven organisation. That, combined with our highly flexible workplace environment were the drawcards for the applicants.”

SHAPE has a cadet program to circumvent the war for talent. Through the initiative, construction graduates support project teams throughout the delivery of a project and beyond.Offering an attractive salary is just one way businesses can secure good talent. At SHAPE, salaries for senior roles are up by 5 per cent and junior salaries are up by between 2 per cent and 4 per cent over the year.
