He said they're trying to find solutions and ways to stay in business, describing some of the incidents he's witnessed. She said she has always tried to help those who were down on their luck, having family members finding themselves out on the streets. She is part of a group of stylists who volunteer by providing haircuts and color to homeless shelters and has volunteered for years, but says lately help has been refused and she's not sure what to do.Her daughter Alyssa Brown also works at the salon and said she understands many of the problems are heightened due to addiction and mental health issues.
The police state is continuously terrorizing the homeless and y’all are amplifying businesses over people suffering
Even SLC !! I'm surprised! Seems no city in America is safe from this problem!
They are everywhere. Very harmful to businesses etc.
I’m wondering why professionals licensed by DOPL are required to take diversity, equity and inclusion training to get our licenses renewed?
BTW Is that snow in July downtown? Be professional Fox now owned by right-wing Sinclair.
Utah used to take better care of our homeless population, it was a better day when we treated them like humans. Our state has the highest inflation of any in the nation and most pro-business anti-human policies in the country. We know why the problem is growing, dont we?
This is little California.
This would have been a great opportunity to discuss what is lacking in services.
Looking like San Fransicko out there.
Open sanitariums back up. That would take care of a large portion of the homeless. Then actually take care of veterans before illegal aliens. That’s another portion. The rest are lazy and need to get a job!
Use a current picture or I'll find this story illegitimate.
The suburbanites not used to driving on downtown city roads are statistically more dangerous.
It's scary they will go after you
