The Ireland AM host explained that she began feeling lost and decided to follow her dreams after getting advice from her mother.
“When you’re 24, it’s an age where you feel so lost. I think I hit that and I had been so unhappy with the job I was in. I was crying to my mam, who said, ‘You’re suffering here. You’ve no social life’.” “The fact that everything just picked up, it was at the right place and right time. Timing is everything in this world and I was very grateful that I’ve been able to do more model and Instagram jobs.Since changing her career, Katja has noticed a different side to her personality as she throws herself fully into different jobs.
“It’s so nice having a partner like that who gets you and champions you and your career. I do the same for him.” She called the experience “an absolute dream”, sharing: “I've always wanted to get into presenting. I started mainly doing Instagram lives, presenting a year-and-a-half ago. She received a call from her management telling her about the opportunity to co-host Ireland AM, which she called “an honour”.
