At the COP26 summit Rep. Curtis advocated for innovation and entrepreneurs to provide climate solutions, yet he and all House Republicans voted “No” on Build Back Better, which included transformational clean energy tax credits to support huge private investments by climate innovators. On June 2 the LCV deemed the House GOP’s climate agenda “laughable,” “turning a blind eye to the science, communities harmed by fossil fuel pollution, and the will of voters.” Curtis and his Conservative Climate Caucus remain dedicated to immunizing the fossil fuel industry from public opinion and the social cost of carbon it displaces onto all of society. Don’t let vague, feel-good sound bites on bucolic hikes mislead you.
Climate people want to eliminate the food supply because CO2 and nitrogen. If they cared about pollution or habitat destruction I might give a darn.
