Canada on Wednesday ordered three Chinese companies to divest their shares from domestic companies involved in extracting critical minerals, citing national-security concerns.

The move marks the latest step by Canada and other developed-world economies to protect their critical mineral assets. Demand for minerals such as cobalt, lithium and nickel is surging as the automotive industry

Canada already sold their mineral rights to foreign countries years ago. Hence takeover of The World's Nickel Capital mining companies. They changed names many times, but 9th generation Cree/Canadians don't forget how stupid Canadian government is. We had it all, but now nothing
