I used to live on 6th street. Once, on Colorado Ave, a few blocks from City Hall and SMPD HQ, I had to physically defend a mother and child from a deranged homeless person that literally tried to grab the baby from their stroller. In broad daylight.

Recently visited & it was sad around there. TJ store employee prevented customers from exiting via elevator because someone apparently mistook it for a toilet. Officials need to step up & help those in need w/ resources to address poverty, crime, mental illness & addiction.
