To put things in context, Ankr paid Wombat pools in all 4x more than the aBNBc TVL we had on Wombat, which is more than generous”
Why wasn't there any safeguards in place to protect the pool after aBNBc completely depegged? Ankr claimed that the damage was $5M lost due to aBNBc. They have spent an additional $25M to help compensate victims of the collateral damage. Seems like they have done plenty.

It was reasonable (and generous in fact) for Ankr to reimburse them 50%. Those other protocols bear some responsibility (for inaction and other reasons) to reimburse their own users. Some of these people were taking unnecessary risks angling to make money during the ordeal imo.
AnkrDidNothingWrong DeFi is user beware. People need to understand they're not entitled to any reimbursements on decentralized platforms. Centralized and Decentralized platforms both have their own dangers to weigh. It's shitty to lose money but charge it to the game

I think ankr should get more credit for all the lengths they've gone to to fix everything like what they did with $hay spending $15 million to repeg it
Ankr did make an effort though. plus, both stader and pstake could pay it thanks to those arb bots they used while the whole thing was happening so I don't see how they would not be able to pay their own holders. or is it because the profited from them to begin with?

Most of the blame here lies with Stader's lack of professionalism, who have shown themselves to be completely unreliable when it comes to taking on their debts to the people, they have not paid their share nor do they show any intention of doing so.
After reading the article I wonder who is at fault here. ankr has given 50% as its their protocol but technically yall should be contacting staderlabs stader_bnb for the rest of the compensation. They haven't said jack and are part of the problem. Just an outsider view.
