Watt and his wife, former Houston Dash and Chicago Red Stars soccer player Kealia Ohai, are getting into the soccer business.
The Watts made a joint announcement on social media about their involvement in the 140-year-old soccer club.“We are going to invest in European football,” J.J. Watt said in the video posted on Twitter. “We don’t have buy-an-entire-European football club kind of money. We’re more along the lines of minority investment, but massive emotional investment.”
They attended a match in March at Turf Moor and toured the team’s training facility. J.J. Watt worked out in the weight room before the match.
