Amid reports that TotalEnergies and its partners could soon restart a gas project in northern Mozambique, the French multinational says there are"at least three" conditions that need to be met before it resumes activities in the violence-prone area.
Mozambican President Filipe Nyusi said last week the conditions had been met to allow TotalEnergies to resume the Mozambique LNG project, which was halted due to insurgent violence in April 2021.
