At $6 million for one year, this is easily first-round pick and prospect territory and maybe then some, I would think.
What’s your take on it?I think it’s a bargain AAV for next year at the very least, even if you’re only thinking about having this guy for one year. If you want to re-sign him for longer then great, but at $6 million at that number his production has been way higher than his cap hit on this entire contract.
