Amongst business functions, the survey showed that 52% of Singapore companies are using AI for digital infrastructure management and operations. Around 43% are planning to use it for digital infrastructure management and 39% are planning to integrate it into their operations.
These are followed by sales and marketing functions with 50% of the companies using AI and 42% planning to use it. “2023 will be remembered as the year generative AI went mainstream, dominating conversations in cafes, on the sidelines of sports pitches, in homes and in the workplace, so this year we’ve refocused our digital infrastructure report to track AI’s monumental impact on businesses,” Colt CEO Keri Gilder said.
Other business functions AI is adopted include human resources, security, research & development, risk management, service/product delivery, training staff, customer experience, fraud detection, data analysis, and using a custom AI platform. Colt also said that the results showed the high potential for digital infrastructure to support various business goals such as ESG commitments and employee retention.
