Over the last few years, there has been a lot of talk about the Internet of Things , which has slowly evolved into the Artificial Intelligence of Things .

IoT establishes connectivity, whereas AIoT injects powerful intelligence into it. One easy-to-remember analogy would be: If IoT is the nervous system, AIoT is the brain. Another analogy: If IoT lets you connect the dots, AIoT lets you draw the picture. A typical AIoT device has AI embedded into the elements—be it programs or chipsets—on the IoT network. This allows application programming interfaces to exchange information or data so that the applications"talk to each other."For instance, AIoT can help you gain insights from your car, such as how to find parking or plan your routes.Similarly, AIoT can analyze data from manufacturing devices to better understand maintenance needs or how to optimize the equipment or processes.
