The second-place PGA winner’s former home includes an HD golf simulator, backyard pool and DeChambeau’s old flat-screen TVs.
DeChambeau added the pool and many of the house’s backyard features, including the custom pergola and fire pit. Smotherman said the house is fully wired for the TV and entertainment systems.When living there, he had a slackline tied between two trees in the backyard, as well as a home gym in his garage.Some gym equipment remains in the three-car garage, according to Smotherman, as well as mirrors and floor pads. The garage also has a dog shower, which DeChambeau used for his dog, Bear.
“We love that house,” Jessica Smotherman said. “We spent a lot of time in that house and I know that he loves that house. He won his first major while living in that house. So we have a lot of really fond memories celebrating with family and friends and holidays and stuff in that house.” In his 2022 house tour, DeChambeau also mentioned that “version two of the DeChambeau residence” was under construction. Jessica Smotherman said DeChambeau has been building his new home in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for the past couple of years.
