In addition to Cleary’s resources fund, Liu’s Alpha Plus fund and Stover’s Asia credit strategy, Tribeca has built a high-net-worth wealth business underIts partnership with GSFM – then partly owned by corporate advisor Grant Samuel – dates back to 2008. Tribeca bought back equity owned by GSFM about 6½ years ago.
Sources said Tribeca’s decision to separate from GSFM would be closely watched by rivals.
