Frisco-based Addus HomeCare is growing its footprint in Texas with the $350 million acquisition of a Georgia company.

Addus HomeCare Corp., which specializes in assisted care, is expected to add annual revenues of approximately $280 million with its acquisition of the personal care arm of Atlanta-based hospice group Gentiva. Texas will represent more than 80% of that total, according to“This will give us largely statewide coverage for personal care,” Allison said. “We’ll continue to expand that coverage as we see errors that might need it, but this gives us most of the major markets.
