As CEO of a leading shipping and logistics company dedicated to several social causes, I’ve seen the change that actively serving these causes can create in the local community and on a global scale.

While AI is certainly proving to be a game changer for industries across the board looking to make a difference, I believe it's important to reflect on the fact that companies don't have to wait for the AI revolution to positively impact their customer base. In the midst of today's technological breakthroughs, we should make sure that our commitment to social change remains a key focus.

The decision to choose a social cause to align your organization with starts with company leadership. However, for a more holistic companywide alignment, consider allowing your entire team to decide which social causes are important to them. In addition to bringing social change, it's also good business practice, as your employees can feel invested in something bigger than themselves.

To be successful in aligning your organization with social change, I’d first suggest directly reaching out to the organization you're hoping to partner with. This could be as easy as emailing them, although a personal meeting would go a long way to ensuring both parties are aligned.
