REUTERS: U.S. stock index futures were trading flat on Monday after hitting a closing high in the previous session, as investors waited for a fresh batch of earnings reports while sentiment was supported by upbeat consumer spending data.
"There's a little bit of caution, we've got a lot of information coming down the pipe this week, especially the Fed meeting." As trade talks enter their last leg, U.S. negotiators head to China on Tuesday to try to hammer out details to end the protracted tariff spat between the two countries.
