Motorists frustrated over looming fuel price hike via SABCNewsOnline

Many motorists say they are frustrated as they brace themselves for yet anotherThe Energy Department has announced that the petrol price will increase by 54 cents per litre while that of diesel will go down by five cents and illuminating paraffin will decrease by one cent.

The latest increase will affect most goods, putting further pressure on already financially strained consumers.

The government needs to look dor ways to stop this periodic petrol price hikes before it gets out of hand. The worse thing is that the impact of petrol price increase is easily transmitted to other sectors of the economy which in turn brings pressure to bear on the poor masses.
