Asia-Pacific markets stayed mixed during Tuesday morning's trading session, following a fluctuating session overnight in the U.S. as investors prepare for key inflation data.

Traders await Wednesday's consumer price index for July, a key indicator of the health of the U.S. economy. Over in Asia, investors are assessing fresh data from Japan's corporate goods price index data and Singapore's second-quarter GDP growth.Pictures From History | Universal Images Group | Getty Images, in line with expectations and climbing at a faster pace compared to 2.9% in June.
