Under the amalgamation the two websites will continue to operate as separate entities

PropertyPal and Propertynews, the two main online property websites in Northern Ireland, have announced they are to merge.

The move comes three years after GCD Technologies, the Lurgan-based technology group, bought Propertynews from Belfast Telegraph owner Mediahuis.The new Board of Directors will also include Conor MacCarrick, former Board member of Propertynews, and Jordan Buchanan, CEO of PropertyPal, who also becomes a shareholder of the new PropertyPal entity.

Meanwhile, Emma McNally, Commercial Director at Propertynews, will step into the role of Chief Operating Officer at PropertyPal.
