TOKYO: Five Chinese naval ships entered the Sea of Japan heading in the direction of Russia over the weekend, Tokyo said after Beijing announced joint military drills with Moscow.

Defence Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin said AI technology is increasingly being applied in military fields. "We have local companies involved in AI development that can be applied in the commercial sector," he told reporters here Tuesday after attending the Responsible AI in the Military Domain Summit 2024.
