Four new Christmas markets have been confirmed for the Christmas period. Liverpool City Council's Markets team have organised the events in four locations across the city centre and Liverpool region to accommodate the festive demand. The new markets are in addition to the annual Liverpool Christmas Markets at St George's Plateau. Visitors can return from Saturday, November 16, until Tuesday, December 24. The first Winter Artisan Market will also offer food and drink at the Lime Street end of the plateau, including street food, sweet treats and crafted bakery products. There will be live performances and family activities for all ages to enjoy from 10am until 4:30pm. Artisan markets are held four times a year inside the grand main hall with a range of independent businesses.
