A Victoria business woman says she's stuck in a loop with the city when it comes to crime and encampments in front of her business.

Kristen Stannix is the owner of Heirloom Linens and says she and her staff are starting to feel unsafe entering and exiting their warehouse on Discovery Street. Stannix told CHEK News the only way she’s had Victoria bylaw officers show up in the past was when she called the police to help with the encampment in front of her business. In a statement the city confirmed that bylaw officers were at the tent location on Discovery Street, adding that they aren’t able to respond quickly has people would like due to high call volumes.“Just kicking them off Pandora is not fixing the problem.
