Barron’s on MarketWatch: 11 stocks to be thankful for this Thanksgiving

Stocks have soared in 2019, giving investors a lot to be thankful for. The S&P 500, Dow Jones Industrial Average, and Nasdaq Composite are all going into the Thanksgiving holiday at record highs. Each index has returned at least 23% including dividends since the start of the year.

All 11 of the S&P 500’s sectors are in the green for 2019, with each sitting on double-digit gains other than energy shares, which have returned 6.5%. The best-performing sector this year has been technology, returning 44%, followed by industrials’... Subscribe or Sign In to continue reading.
