The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced last night they were retiring as “senior members” of the Royal family to begin a new life that they claim will be “financially independent”.
They can have it IF they buy it off the tax payer ie me/us! I think it should be sold. Let them make it on their own, they'll soon realise they can't. They will always be a target for the Press and what about their personal protection! 😕
The Queen might own Frogmore Cottage but we the taxpayers paid for the renovation. They should be made to pay us back our £2.4 million. They’ve got the money, if they want to be financially independent they should start now.
