EV's are not Zero Emission Vehicles, there are significant Emissions in their Production and if The Electricity is not from Renewable Energy Sources, They are really not even an Improvement. Plus Mineral Mining and Production of the Battery is Emission intensive too.
Its the nature of a company with crass but innovative leader. That when the technology gets out which in this case Elon Musk really wanted(to a point) people may move on to other companies. Elon Musk should take up another position in Tesla before too much damage is done to Tesla
