One man has been arrested on suspicion of working illegally

This was the moment police descended on a south Manchester business for a drugs bust. Officers descended on Fog Lane, in Burnage, yesterday evening .

Footage, seen by the Manchester Evening News, shows seven officers outside a shuttered business as the raid took place. One of the officers used a battering ram to force open a side door at the premises. The M.E.N. understands the drugs raid involved suspected nitrous oxide. Greater Manchester Police says the business owner will be questioned, while a man has been arrested on suspicion of working illegally.An eyewitness told the M.E.N.: "Police smashed in the door of the office... there were six or seven police and a lot of staff came out. Later on the owner came along to remonstrate with police.

A GMP spokesman said: "At around 5.20pm yesterday , officers executed a Section 23 warrant at a business premises on Fog Lane, Manchester. One man was arrested on suspicion of working illegally and the owner of the business will be interviewed at a later date for the supply of a Class C drug."
