There is still demand for houses but loan rejection making it difficult for homebuyers, says deputy minister.

To ease the housing glut which mainly arises from loan rejection, the Housing and Local Government Ministry is looking to work with financial providers other than banks to provide home loans.said there is still demand for houses but due to strict financial requirements set by the banks, many potential homebuyers couldn’t buy the houses they desire.

He added the government had extended the Home Ownership Campaign which commenced early this year for another six months as there is a demand for it. “As the community grows, public spaces are important for everyone. The government and local authorities will continue emphasising the need for it.

5.7b from 8000 properties sold? That is around 700k per property. This HOC scam, is it really for the B40? Which B40 can buy 700k plus property? PH gomen is a developer gomen or rakyat gomen?

There are always justifiable reasons for loans rejection. source from other finance providers are generally at much higher financing costs- burdening the house buyer and it may eventually cost them to lose the house due to repayment capabilities. govt responsible for that?
