Due to the loss of demand, the auctions are struggling with low prices and the need to destroy the flowers.Spring is usually the busiest time of year at the Aalsmeer Flower Auction in the Netherlands, the world's blossom trade capital.Now most of these flowers are being composted.
Nearby villages in Bengaluru supply in large to Netherlands flower trade. Roses, Orchids, Lilly, Daffodils were a blooming trade until a fortnight ago.
