A top Wall Street analysis firm says the coronavirus pandemic upended its projections for the next decade in just 3 months. Here are 4 industries that may be forever altered by the outbreak.

Those shifts are likely temporary. But corporate America could be reeling from the impact of theof dollars of bailout funds to cover the impact.. And industries, like big tech, that are reliant on foreign supply chains in China might have to rethink those structures.at which organizations must adapt to the possibilities enabled by the digital economy.

The ramifications are so significant that after just a few months, the outbreak is forcing experts to revise predictions on the pace of innovation for the next decade. "We had no idea that a global pandemic would be among the first catalysts to accelerate some of the secular shifts we anticipated over a longer-term horizon," UBS analysts wrote in a recent note to investors. "While we expect the global economy eventually to recover, we may see changes to lifestyles and business practices, as well as new healthcare and digital technologies, influence the post-pandemic economy.
