Bezos responds to Amazon customer's dislike of Black Lives Matter site banner - Business Insider

It indicates a way to close an interaction, or dismiss a notification.Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos remained steadfast in his support for the Black Lives Matter movement after a customer emailed him expressing disapproval of the Amazon website's Black Lives Matter banner.

"ALL LIVES MATTER! And if it wasn't for all of these lives providing their service to your and your company, where would Amazon be today?" the customer wrote in the email."Black lives matter speaks to racism and the disproportionate risk that Black people face in our law enforcement and justice system," Bezos wrote.Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos personally responded to a customer's email expressing disapproval of the site's Black Lives Matter banner.

"And if it wasn't for all of these lives providing their service to your [sic] and your company, where would Amazon be today?" the customer concluded in the email. Bezos wrote about how, as a white man, he doesn't have to worry about his son, Preston, when being detained by police, but the same can't be said about black parents.

JeffBezos is sowing his own demise? Today take the knee. Tomorrow decolonize? -defund police? -all white folk give up their properties, move into public housing? -step down from corporate boards? -introduce compelled speech laws with prison sentences Future is looking bright?
