Millennials are abandoning NYC and San Francisco and moving to these 10 cities instead

And this is based on US Census net migration data from 2018 —the pandemic. SmartAsset ranked the list by subtracting the number of people ages 25 to 39 who moved out of each city from the number of people in the same age range who moved into the same city in 2017.

Turns out, millennials are largely moving out west and to the south. Many of these cities are typically more affordable than traditionally popular places like

Great, just what we need millennials moving to the south with their degrees in liberalism and big blue ideas. Democrats ruin everything.

I’m not surprised by Austin and Houston appearing on this list - assuming it’s correct. Both genuinely interesting, unusual, creative, and very diverse cities, with thriving music, art, technology, healthcare, engineering - and big investment. Plus NASA.
