A tool called Face Depixelizer grabbed the attention of the artificial intelligence research community this weekend. When given a pixelated photograph of Barack Obama, Face Depixelizer turned him into a white man.
The tool, called Face Depixelizer, was built by a coder and put out on Twitter. It's built to take pixelated photographs of people and accurately reconstruct a sharp and accurate image of their face using machine learning, a type of AI.Users started to spot however that the system was not particularly accurate when it came to processing Black faces. One shared an image of what happened after they input a pixelated picture of Barack Obama — Face Depixelizer turned him into a white man.
Although Face Depixelizer is an illustration of how these systems can fail at identifying Black people's faces, the implications of algorithmic racial bias go far beyond a depixelating proof-of-concept tool circulating on Twitter.
Isn't Obama half white?
The Obama cabal used foreign agencies to spy on American citizens -- to change election results -- against the will of the American people.

'Why Is a White Woman Worth So Much More?': Inside the Porn Industry's Overdue ReckoningLate last month, several porn companies’ statements of support for Black Lives Matter were met with intense skepticism from black performers. In response to a statement of solidarity sent by the porn site Brazzers to “black talent, members, colleagues and fans,” performer Kristi Maxx responded, “Cool! Thanks. We would love for y’all to diversify your talent and shoot more black women.” Performer Lasha Lane responded similarly to a tweet from Vixen: “Start by hiring more black models instead of just tweeting perhaps.” The next day, performer Ricky Johnson started a thread detailing his and other black performers’ experiences of racism in the business. Soon, performers across the industry were weighing in with accounts of discriminatory hiring practices and pay, including white women being rewarded with lucrative contracts for their first so-called “interracial” scene. The conversation quickly moved beyond Johnson’s popular thread, as performers deconstructed industry-wide racism, from white performers’ racism to race-based pay disparities and racist film tropes.\n Not just the porn industry.. As an Environmental Safety Scientist, I had to fight my bosses to make a comparable wage. Compounded with being not married, it was VERY difficult. But I got it.. everytime. When you guys gonna do a science story Preferences? Any topic would be better than this joke of a subject, it's like you don't know what's subjective and what's objective😂😂😂😂. bc they hotter dumbass
