"I think we're going to be very good with the coronavirus. I think at some point that's going to sort of just disappear, I hope," Trump said during an interview with Fox Business on Wednesday. Meanwhile, the US is recording roughly 40,000 new COVID-19 cases per day, with the overall confirmed number of cases in the country nearing 2.7 million.
