Postmaster General Louis DeJoy's former company New Breed Logistics may have overcharged the USPS by $53 million, an audit found

XPO Logistics, which bought New Breed, is a current USPS contractor that thehas been paid $286 million by the Postal Service since 2016, and DeJoy holds a reported $30 million stake in the company.DeJoy, through a spokesperson, told NBC that “there was no finding in the review that [New Breed] did not fulfill the terms and conditions of the contract,” and that the 2001 audit was scrutinizing Postal Service contracting rather than New Breed.

The Postal Service and its management took issue at the time with aspects of the IG’s findings, claiming that New Breed’s “proposed prices were more realistic than the competitive contractors’ cost proposals,” and describing the $53 million calculation as “misleading.

Had to fund all those Trump donation bonuses somehow

Let him pay back the money

Tangled web we weave...

Someone's got to pay for those donations to the RNC - why not the American taxpayer? Seems the R's feel mighty entitled these days. I hope Pompeo, et al enjoyed the top shelf liquor we supplied his dinner, and of course, let's not forget our private golf club fees.

None of this surprises me. What’s done in the dark will eventually come to light.

If you are shocked by this..... You haven’t been paying attention.

america's solve for this white collar looting is pointing it out, and then carrying on to the next news headline

Of course he did, he's a Trump Insider, they all have

Why hasn’t DeJoy been fired and marched out in cuffs?

What the ....... is going on?

I remember when people used to go to jail for that.....

This is a shocker!!! From such an honest and transparent administration?!?!? Something like this?!?! Preposterous!!!

Par for the best and the brightest - Swampy!!

Totally not a conflict of interest.
