Neighborhoods across New York City face another shutdown due to high coronavirus infection rates: mayor

New York Mayor Bill de Blasio holds a face shield as he speaks to the media during a visit to the Brooklyn Navy Yard where local industrial firms have begun manufacturing Personal Protective EquipmentNew York Mayor Bill de Blasio said on Sunday that he will move to close restaurants, small businesses, and schools in nine neighborhoods seeing a surge in coronavirus infection rates.

Nine ZIP code areas throughout the New York City boroughs of Queens and Brooklyn should plan to see the closure of non-essential businesses, schools, and restaurant dining, de Blasio said"Today, unfortunately, is not a day for celebration," de Blasio began.

These nine ZIP codes have had a coronavirus infection rate hovering at 3% or higher for at least seven consecutive days, according to de Blasio.

How will the leftist media spin this? Maybe having thousands of Antifa/BLM criminals destroying the city, being out on the streets and terrorizing citizens not the best thing for a pandemic? 🤔

This is so unfortunate to hear this! Why people are not following simple rules of social distancing and wearing masks when they move out. If we can't follow this basic rule then I am sorry, the virus is not going away for long long time!!
