The popular Kubwa Village Market in the Bwari Area Council, Abuja, is currently on fire, leading to the death of an unspecified number of persons.According to Daily Post, although details of the inferno are still sketchy as of press time, a source disclosed that the incident followed a tanker explosion close to the market.The incident comes a few days after a 21-storey building collapsed on Gerrard Road, in the Ikoyi area of Lagos State.
SaharaReporters had earlier published on Thursday that the figure of victims confirmed dead at the site of the crumbled building had risen to 36. Emergency workers have evacuated nine persons alive from the debris of the building while about 39 persons have been confirmed dead.
