Climate Change and Energy Minister Chris Bowen says the climate legislation to be introduced to parliament today signals to investors Australia is “open for business” for renewable energy.

“These policies will create jobs and investment,” Mr Bowen told Sky News Australia.

“Even if we didn’t have that obligation, it would be good for the country, good for our national security, good for our economy to act on climate change.”

They are all corrupted and working against the best interests of Australia.

Bowenchris getting ready to sell us out to China. Renewables will never provide a clean power solution as the PV panels, wind turbines, batteries etc cannot be recycled.... FACT! NUCLEAR is the true clean energy of the future

That's similar to what he said to all those illegal boat people all those years ago before they drowned.

How true John Williamson's words to True Blue have become. If They Sell Us Off Like Sponge Cake, Do We Really CARE? Seems so.

First you need to control the CMFEU or no investors will come to Australia. Why would they invest knowing these thugs will hijack the project and hold it to ransom.

bowens hubris is only exceeded by his arrogance!!

only signal to investors is that they will be throwing their money into an endless pit of underperformance.

Chris Bowen is ready to lock in Australian taxpayers to guarantee investments for decades no matter how badly this goes.

Australia is a globally significant coal (thermal, coking) extractor and supplier. The national debate needs far greater nuance. 1. Do mine owners pay royalties for their water use? 2. Is it economically feasible for overseas power coal users to switch to Australian coal?

How many more windmills and solar panels does it take to replace coal, gas and nuclear energy?

Drivel. Again

Bowen is our climate hoax minister

There goes Australia as we know it.

We're fucked

Surprised this guy is struggling so early in his portfolio. He won't last long.

And 600,000 jobs for China.

What investors? There is nobody except the union super funds that are likely to throw money at a project without potential of a good return. The bet is China

This will hurt us...

if businesses want their companies to succeed don't rely on this Labor government they are useless and costly

Might as well just write 'SCAM ME' on his forehead.

Sounds like 'sell your coal and gas stocks fast'

So was Europe! Hope we learn some lessons with their experience and execute a well managed transitional plan. How’s that Green hydrogen coming along?

Subsidies 🤙🤙 no shit you'll get investment when you pour so much public money into it these companies can't lose Let's have an audit of the metro tunnel project in Melbourne A Labor flagship....entire budget gone in September last year Who's paying the bills now?
