Health inspectors found some meat on sale at Euro Market, on Great Horton Road in Bradford, was stored in a cardboard box on the shop floor rather than in a refrigerator, and there was no record of where some of the meat had been sourced. Mr Rice, prosecuting on behalf of Bradford Council, told the court in one inspection an item of food was found to be "51 days over its use-by date" and a number of expired items had been reduced in price.

“Some of the cooler cabinets had signage instructing staff where the out-of-date food items should be placed.

Fair enough that the store owner was fined but who in their right mind would buy this crap?

Such things are easily seen in Middle Eastern market stalls together with meat products the origins of which are better left unsaid. Fly strikes of the meat is common place and ghastly. Immigrants often ignore our hygiene laws or 'couldn't be understood' by the purveyor.

Not to worry our conservative govt are to de-regulate to ensure that this critical food stuff is not taken from the food chain and the suppliers profits are protected

I wonder who would do this in Bradford? 🇮🇳🇵🇰

Bradford you say? 🤣🤣🤣

Slow news day?

Older meats like pork tastes better.

Mould eh? Well it is the City of Culture I suppose.
