Peoria's City Manager Jeff Tyne and deputy city managers Erik Strunk and Andrew Granger recently announced they will be leaving their roles with the city.was recently hired as one of two deputy city managersThe city manager typically oversees the city's day-to-day operations and manages Peoria's budget. The city's proposed fiscal-year 2023 budgetAs of fiscal year 2021, Tyne had an annual salary of $233,730, according to the Arizona Republic database of government salaries.

Tyne earned his master's degree in public administration from Arizona State University, and has a bachelor's degree in political science from Arizona State University.Strunk, who has worked in city government for more than 30 years, also announced his retirement from the deputy city manager role in November.

Strunk received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado and his master’s degree in public administration from Bowling Green State University. In that role, he managed several departments including police, fire, finance, budget, human resources, public works, utilities, development and engineering, planning and community development, information technology, city clerk, internal audit and sustainability.
