I'm not a gosh I'm real

Enough money to actually live on, an actual retirement plan, medical and dental, and not treating us like shit on top of denying us all those things our parents and grandparents took for granted would be nice.

How about hiring people who apply, you fucking asswits? I cannot count how many jobs look like they were written just for me and I can't get a call back. With great references and everything. And they sit unfilled for months. My resume contains no swears.

Wait.... employees have been treated like garbage for years, so now that the economy is turning around and they have something resembling an upper hand, your suggestion is to ... capitulate to the corporate fat cats? Not a fucking chance.

I realize this may come as a complete shock: PAY MORE. When you have the markets soaring and CEO pay is at record high, BUT no one is giving out raises, it should surprise no one that employees are voting with their feet.

Not spend the tax break on stock buybacks and executive bonuses?

Unions. Fair pay. Benefits. Pensions. Universal healthcare. Some of these will lower your expenses.

Ghost is the mightiest of the Direwolves. So this is a good thing.

Paying them what they’re worth?

Unions. Livable wage. The usual.

Not exactly ghosting, but I know someone who, after working 28 years, left a vm for his mgr saying he wasn’t coming to work that day, he was retiring. He went to the adm office and completed the paperwork. No prior warning. Implied msg, the conditions were untenable.

Living wages, affordable healthcare, etc

Better pay with more vacation time.

Online daters are trying to decide whether ghosting is worse than “orbiting.” Meghan Markle’s father claims that the Duchess of Sussex has ghosted him since her wedding. And now, workers are ghosting their employers

Ouija board

Yes to the posts about worker treatment. But also many employers ghost during application process themselves. I'm old enough to recall when employers typically responded to job applicants and certainly all job interviewees. Now some employers even ghost finalists for positions.

Just like writers for the Washington Post are becoming extinct, lack of real stories?!!!

If you are treated poorly in work surely u speak out. Nothing will happen unless people become aware if you ghost and disappear u become the jerk not ur employer

By leadership.

Those Employees 'quit' months before they actualy left, then just showed up to steal a paycheck.. Companies need to focus on finding, training, and inspireing talent. Rewarding exellence. Then recongnizing and cutting the dead weight before it drags everybody down.. 😉

Idk pay them a livable wage to begin

Actually, there's something even more frightening in play here. Across generations of Americans we've become increasingly more angry, & insolent as a ppl. We're much more likely to be hateful to ppl that we don't know rather than to extend a hand in friendship to welcome them.

Offer lifetime tenure after 10 years of service

Use seance board.🤣🤣

Workers seizing the means of production and saying 'boo' to the bourgeoisie

We feel like a fish walking around in the aquarium. People are not just money or numbers.

Transparency. Fair distribution of wealth. Healthier working conditions. Advancement opportunities. Continuing education. Employee outings w/ an open bar and horderves.

Okay look fake news, employees are NOT turning into GHOSTS. C'mon now. You can do better. Richest man in the world Bezos you can do better journalism. You SHOULD do better journalism.

WashPo: 'It may feel like we’re avenging the ghost of economies past by becoming the ghosts of the economy present. But both sides should beware the ghosts of economies yet to come.'

WashPo: 'We know there was a time when companies felt a responsibility to their employees rather than just to stakeholders, and when obligation was a two-way street, but we also know that period has passed.'

Democratize the workplace

unions

Overthrow the workplace

pay them a living wage

I cannot even go there right now. It is 2 a.m. Post you are freaking me out.

Zak_Bagans

Decent pay and working conditions is surprisingly effective.

AI Helps Auto-Loan Company Handle Industry’s Trickiest TurnMachine-learning system helps a subprime auto lender analyze data differently to determine credit worthiness of borrowers, thereby allowing the firm to boost its volume without lowering its lending standard. gotta love the staged white board picture. classic ! I just used my AI code to work out that 99% of companies are going to be bullshitting about using the words ai in 2019 to sound good. Ah yes the last time people thought they were smart enough to make sub prime loans that worked out swell.

Swamped With Inventory, U.S. Companies Turn to ‘Mobile Storage’U.S. companies are so inundated with inventory that some are renting truck trailers to use for storage space until a distribution backlog is cleared. Piling up? Sounds like a lack of demand due to massive upward wealth redistribution caused by Conservative Repub supply side policies. Get your cash back rewards in crypto as soon as same day: Expect this trend to continue as there is not enough warehousing & parking to accomidate demand

A power company mishap turns New York's skyline blueDespite the eerie blue glow over the New York skyline on Thursday night, there was no alien invasion. Instead, the light came as part of an electrical fault that caused an 'arc flash,' a Con Edison spokesman said. Yeah, that's what they want us to believe.
