Those living on low incomes and who may be struggling to put food on the table will have better access to nutritious food, according to the B.C. government.
“We all want people to have the support and services they need to get healthy, nutritious food on the table,” said Sheila Malcolmson, Minister of Social Development and Poverty Reduction. “Every community in our province has unique food needs,” said Kim Winchell, provincial director, community impact and investment, at United Way British Columbia.
